 ok some people asked for the our own folding@home team. so here it is our team name is klitetools team our team # is 37165, you will need to enter this number 37165 to help our team. it will be asked of you when you install and run the program for the first time. here is their home page if you want to know more. here is the install info here is the download for win98/ME here is the download for 2000/XP/Vista Graphical CPU client here is the download page for linux and mac and windows[IMG] NOW its pretty simple, you just download and install the folding@home.exe. run it and it will ask you for your user name(this is any name you like) your team # which is 37165. and then cofig anything you like. it will run in your system try so right click it and choose display and then watch it connect and work(this will be diplayed on the left hand bottom of the program screen. well this one needs discusstion so its open ofcourse if it was a tutorial belive me it would have been closed to keep it clean

My computer is on 24/7 and some of the proteins can take up to 4 days to fold.... Some are quite fast, but the faster ones you get less points for, so when you have finished, you will probably be in first place...

What does Folding@Home do? Folding@Home is a distributed computing project which studies protein folding, misfolding, aggregation, and related diseases. We use novel computational methods and large scale distributed computing, to simulate timescales thousands to millions of times longer than previously achieved.
